Mumford & Sons are set to return to Australia in 2026. The British Grammy Award–winning folk-rock band will support their forthcoming album Prizefighter with two unmissable shows next year.
After a sold-out, one-night-only return at the Sydney Opera House in March, Mumford & Sons will bring their full-scale arena production to Melbourne and Sydney for what are shaping up to be two of the most highly anticipated live events of 2026.
Formed in West London in 2008, Mumford & Sons quickly rose from intimate shows to global festival headliners, earning Grammy Awards and topping charts worldwide. Their sixth studio album, Prizefighter, will be released on February 13 and was co-written and co-produced with Aaron Dessner of The National at his Long Pond Studio. The album features collaborations with Hozier, Gracie Abrams, Chris Stapleton and Gigi Perez.
The release follows RUSHMERE, which debuted at No. 1 in the U.K. earlier this year and powered a sold-out global arena tour. Along the way, the band have collaborated with artists such as Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen and Brandi Carlile, building lasting creative partnerships.
