St. Louis Tasting Tour: Food, History & Culture

Thu, Apr 02, 2026 14:00 PM - 17:00 PM

Description

Join a native historian and storyteller on a leisurely 2-mile walk through St. Louis’ vibrant Central West End, sampling 4–6 uniquely local treats from one of the city’s most stylish and enduring neighborhoods. Along the way, hear the good, the bad, and the ugly* stories that shaped St. Louis—and enjoy plenty of Dad jokes at no extra charge.

Once the fourth-largest city in the U.S., St. Louis overflowed with Gilded Age wealth during the globally significant 1904 World’s Fair. On this tour, you’ll see grand hotels and mansions that once hosted royalty, while exploring the origins of the nearby Delmar Divide—a socioeconomic legacy visible alongside the city’s opulent architecture.

*TRIGGER WARNING: This tour covers historical events related to race and social justice.
